Kyosho MiniZ Suspension double arm v3 MR03/PNR2.5W

Double A-Arm suspension system made of aluminum in orange color, for the Kyosho Mini-Z MR03 (also valid for the MR03 Sport and MR03VE/PRO) as well as for the PNR2.5W chassis.

This latest update to this suspension system (v3) includes the MR3062 aluminum front bridge (" Upper Bracket "), which allows the center of gravity of the chassis to be lowered.

Characteristics:

- Complete front suspension system for the Kyosho MR03 that completely replaces the original system (spindles, steering rod, wishbones, springs).

- Designed based on the suspension systems of real racing cars.

- The double wishbone (or arm) suspension allows us good control of the suspension geometry and the " Roll Center " throughout the entire suspension travel.

The variation in front wheel camber as we compress the suspension while cornering helps us keep the front wheels as vertical as possible, thus maintaining maximum tire contact with the track. This results in very precise cornering and maximum maneuverability on the track.

- Once this suspension system is installed, the chassis will maintain the same width at the front axle as with the original " Wide " suspension system.

- Once we use this suspension system, will the chassis height remain the same as the original or can we easily modify it?

The different steering geometry of this front suspension system slightly reduces the offset , resulting in noticeably quicker steering. As previously mentioned, the overall width of the front axle remains identical to that of the original suspension system in " Wide " mode, allowing for compatibility with the same body styles.

This suspension uses metal ball joints, unlike the original system which uses kingpins that slide on axles. Therefore, this double wishbone system is not affected by excessive friction between the kingpins and axles, especially when fitted with high-offset front wheels. This low friction in the steering system promotes agile and consistent handling when cornering.

- This double wishbone suspension system, composed of ball joints and retaining clips, is also much more reliable than the original suspension system, with parts that simply fit together and can come loose with a strong impact.

- Adjustable " Camber " from 0 to 3º, with a gain of 1.3º/mm (when compressing the suspension).

- " Caster " adjustable from 0 to 1-8º.

- The shaft that holds the upper trapezoids allows 4 positions for "camber" adjustment.

- We can modify the " camber " gain, the static " camber " and the " roll center " of our chassis.

- These adjustments are made easily and quickly, using screws.

- This complete double wishbone suspension system includes 3 aluminum steering bars, 0º, +0.5º and +1º, to adjust the toe-in of the front axle.

- This complete suspension system also allows for quick adjustment of the " down stop " or travel limit of the lower wishbones, allowing us to set the chassis to the desired height.

The advantages of this sophisticated suspension system translate into much more precise handling on curves, and maximum maneuverability on the track, which considerably increases our satisfaction when driving a Mini-Z.

Available settings for this front suspension system:

- Adjustment of the " Droop " (chassis height) of the front axle, using the " down stops ".

- Steering " caster " adjustment.

- Adjustment of the " camber " (sag) of the front suspension, and the " camber " gain.

- Adjustment of the toe-in of the front wheels (steering rods).
