Steering Bar -1.0 Pn Racing MiniZ MR02 (Toe-Out) Silver

Optional -1.0 toe-out steering rod, made of aluminum, silver in color, compatible with the Kyosho Mini-Z MR02 chassis. This optional steering rod is manufactured by PN Racing.

This optional steering rod replaces the original plastic steering rod. Unlike the original rod, which has 0 degrees of toe-in/toe-out (meaning it keeps the front wheels perfectly parallel), this optional steering rod has -1.0 degrees of toe-out.

How does adjusting the toe-in affect the behavior of our chassis?

On the Kyosho Mini-Z Racer MR02, when we install a steering rod that provides toe-out on the front axle (-0.5, -1.0, -1.5, -2.0, etc.), we obtain a much smoother and more stable chassis response when driving in a straight line; in other words, the steering will be much more relaxed. On the other hand, we will lose some cornering input. The chassis will be more difficult to turn, enter the corner, and changes of direction will be slightly slower.

Therefore, this -1.0 "Toe Out" bar is highly recommended for circuits with long straights, which require, for example, a lot of stability when driving at high speeds (generally on the straights) where we do not have to make constant changes of direction.

Another point to consider is that this optional steering column is made of aluminum. Therefore, it is much stronger than the original (made of plastic). It will be much harder to break the steering column in the event of bumps or impacts, whether to the column itself, the front wheels, or the steering knuckles. On the other hand, we must keep in mind that while the aluminum column is much more robust and resistant than the original, in the event of a strong impact, the steering knuckle will be the most likely part to break, unless it has been replaced with an optional aluminum one.
