Li-ion 3.7V AAA Batteries for Rechargeable MiniZ

Set of rechargeable Li-ion batteries, AAA type, 555mAh and 3.7v each.

CAUTION

These batteries are NOT Ni-MH. These 3.7V Li-ion batteries should only be used in Mini-Z Brushless (VE) units, as only that electronics can handle 2S (7.4V) operation. We can therefore use two cells connected in series, i.e., 7.4VA 555mA. However, we can also modify the chassis connections to connect four cells in 2S2P mode (two cells in series and two cells in parallel), in which case we would have 7.4VA 1110mA.

It is essential that you modify the terminal connections of the Mini-Z VE and Mini-Z VE PRO chassis in 2S2P mode in order to use them. Otherwise, you will irreversibly damage the electronic board of your Mini-Z.

These batteries cannot be used in Mini-Z brushed motor electronics, nor can they be used in Mini-Z chassis without modifying the connections.

To recharge these batteries we must use a Li-ion AAA battery charger with a maximum output of 0.5A.
